Size matters. That might sound a little rude but when it comes to coach hire it really does matter. For example, if you’re looking for 9 seat bus or minibus hire the smallest vehicle we could offer is a 16 seat minibus. We also have 19, 24, 31, 38, 49, 53 and 55 seat coaches, some of which have toilets too. Anything over that we can provide a combination of vehicles to fit your requirements. This makes us a very efficient supplier of transport as our varied fleet means we will have something that will match your numbers. We are also able to change your booked coach if your group size changes sometimes meaning the difference between a trip running or not.

Our Bus services in Kent

We operate a variety of bus routes which are all supported financially by Kent County Council. Our services operate in most of the east Kent towns such as Canterbury, Whitstable, Faversham, Herne Bay, Thanet and Dover as well as a lot of rural villages. Whilst our modern buses are very efficient people movers, unfortunately we do not hire them out as they are not licenced for private hires. Buses are very popular for weddings at the moment and whilst we can’t offer bus hire for weddings, we do have some very nice coaches that would do a better job.

We do however supply a lot of busses for rail replacement in the local area, usually at weekends and bank holidays when Network Rail are maintaining the line. This work is usually carried out under contract to Go-Ahead, a much larger organisation who supply rail replacement in the area. We often supply up to 10 vehicles and drivers for this vital rail replacement work using our modern and comfortable 30 seat and 38 seat busses to make the journey as smooth as possible.

How Much Does Minibus Hire Cost?

Well it depends on where you are travelling to and what sort of length of day you’ll be having. From our base in Kent, all our drivers use a tachograph and are therefore governed by strict drivers hours regulations. They can driver continuously for a maximum of four and a half hours before requiring a forty-five minute break. Once they’ve had that break they can drive for another four and a half hours. Anything more than this requires two drivers which obviously would be more expensive. The other constraint on drivers is that they have a maximum 15 hour working day. This starts from when they arrive at the yard and finishes once they leave the yard at the end of the day. Sometimes adjusting the length of your day can make all the difference between needing 2 drivers or being able to use just the one which will have a noticeable effect on the final price. Other considerations are things like road tolls, ferry or tunnel fares for continental trips and parking. It’s worth remembering though that coach hire is a very economical and environmentally friendly way to travel with the cost per passenger sometimes being as low as £15 per head – again, obviously depending on where your journey takes you.

We have various sized smaller vehicles for you to choose from. We have several 16 seat Executive minibuses which are great for day trips out and wedding transfers. We also have a 16 seat minibus with a boot which is brilliant for airport transfers. For something a little bigger we also have two 19 seat air-conditioned Mercedes Benz minibuses. With all of our minibuses we have the facility to add a small or large box trailer allowing you to take as much luggage as you want. This combination makes them great for scout or school camping trips or any airport transfer with lots of luggage.
